Coral Island Calendar

Coral Island Calendar - When i have it selected in the hot bar, it showed a little red box. I know there is one in the community centre but id rather have one in my house. Summer shows some birthdays from spring again. Been playing for a couple of hours and really enjoying the game however i have bought the calendar from the carpenter but i dint seem to be able to interact with it. Including the calendar, i couldn't move it at all, but other objects such as the bed could be moved or stored normally. Not the furnishing item, the one outside sam's store.

If it was the last reasoning, then i really messed up. The calendar is either bugged, doesn't have a function or i put it in a bad place. I don't know if it's already in the game because i only started playing recently but it would be great if we could get a calendar we can put in our homes which we can check. Noticed macy, pablo, sam, oliver, conner, and paul at least. Or is there any way to solve it?
